This high quality print of 'Stan´s Dream' by internationally renowned artist Robert Nippoldt was created exclusively for the book `A True Love Story´, based on an idea by authors Andreas Baum and Michael Ehret and realised by the artist. 

Robert Nippoldt is an internationally renowned and multi-award-winning illustrator whose drawings are regularly shown at international exhibitions and sold in galleries. Nippoldt has also realized numerous illustrated book projects, for example about jazz in New York in the Roaring Twenties or Hollywood in the 1930s. His books are distributed by renowned publishing houses such as Taschen-Verlag, for whom the artist has also drawn on other occasions. In addition to his book projects, Robert Nippoldt also draws for international magazines and clients such as The New Yorker, Le Monde, Die
ZEIT, Mercedes-Benz, Reader's Digest and TIME Magazine.

The title 'Stan's Dream' refers to the fact that Stan Laurel, after receiving the Honorary Oscar for his life's work in 1961, repeatedly said that he wished he had received the Oscar together with Oliver Hardy, who had unfortunately been dead for several years by then. So what remains is `Stan's Dream´, which Robert Nippoldt has realised here in his unique graphic style and which can be ordered as a limited and hand-signed print exclusively here in the shop - and for an original Nippoldt print at € 149 it is extremely affordable, as comparable prints by the artist in terms of size and edition normally cost at least between € 199 and € 249.
